New US Dates
Rodrigo y Gabriela are pleased to announce several new dates this fall in North America. The duo recently announced a string of dates this August, including visits to Red Rocks in Colorado, Pier Six Pavilion in Baltimore and the Boston Opera House. The newly added dates take the pair through the Midwest and Northeast with performances in Minneapolis, Cleveland, Buffalo and more. Tickets for the new tour go on sale July 23, but a special presale is available beginning this Friday at http://www.rodgab.com/presale.html

Theres a new B Major video session up right now in the B Major section of this site. Recorded during the performance in Radio City Music Hall on April 29th, 2010 having Robert Trujillo (Metallica) as one of the guests that night. After two failed attempts to rehersal with Trujillo because the Eyjafjallajokull ash cloud this jam takes the name of "Volcano Jam".

Mexican acoustic rock duo Rodrigo y Gabriela have been recognised by one of America's most respected civil rights organisations, The National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP).
Rod & Gab's new album “11:11” is nominated in the Outstanding World Music Category at the forthcoming 41th NAACP Image Awards. Nominees in the other categories include Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman and the Black Eyed Peas. The awards ceremony takes place at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles on Friday 26th February.

New album '11:11'
Rodrigo y Gabriela will release their new studio album, entitled “11:11” on Rubyworks, on Monday 7th September also, in North America on ATO Records Sept 8th.“11:11” was recorded in Ixtapa, Mexico. The album has been produced by Rodrigo y Gabriela, with John Leckie co-producing one of the tracks. The album was mixed in Wales and London by Colin Richardson, best known for his work with Slipknot and Trivium.

Comprising 11 new self-written compositions, “11:11” is Rod & Gab’s personal “Gracias” to a first XI of musicians, both past and present, who have inspired them along the way. Alex Skolnick of metal gods Testament guests on the album, as do widely respected acoustic veterans Strunz & Farah...

The new ‘Rhythms del Mundo’ album ‘Classics’
